God given Gifts

Hello all!

Are you aware that God has blessed each one of us with gifts? And it is our freedom and choice to discover them and exercise them in order to reach our full potential in service and happiness! Identifying them is the first step and through that, we can find a deeper purpose in our existence and minster to others.

For a start, here are the different gifts – distributed by the same Spirit.

There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone, it is the same God at work.

But how exactly do we find out which gifts the Lord blessed us with? In today’s session, our friends shared with us an online survey which we could use as a guide for this very purpose!

Identifying your Gifts – Exercise: http://giftstest.com/test

66 questions. Answer instinctively

Another good method is to simply ask. Sometimes, our very own gifts are more obvious to others than to ourselves. Also do take the effort to affirm and encourage others when you notice them practising a gift in ministering to the church =)

When you receive your answers (input a real email if you want more details on your results!), don’t just stop there! It is also encouraged that you go through these personal reflections in your own time:

  1. Do I realize the gifts that I or my brother/sister have identified?
  2. Have I been fully maximizing my gifts for the glory of God?
  3. How can I harness and grow my gifts (in work / in community etc)?

If you want to know more about each gifts first, I found a website that has a good short summary on each: http://www.spiritualgiftstest.com/spiritual-gifts

Have a blast and God bless!
